Life Saver!!!
My husband and I love this product. Our little guy has been very active since day one! Even in the hospital, while recovering from a c-section, he was un-swaddling himself in the regular receiving blankets. At first we just figured that it wasn't a big deal; until he would wake himself up constantly doing the "startle reflex" or wiggling. So... at 3 days old we used the one I received as a gift at my shower. This blanket helped him to stay cozy and swaddled tightly during naps and night time sleep. As soon as we were discharged we went and purchased 3 more. We are still using them today, at 4 months, and couldn't be happier. We have the cotton ones, they are light weight and very durable. Love it!
While my swaddling technique leaves a little to be desired (I don't know how those nurses do it!), I absolutely love this blanket! I swaddled my son on a 90 degree day and he didn't even break a sweat. He does kick out of it periodically, but it has everything to do with my ability to swaddle and nothing to do with the blanket. I would recommend this as a summer blanket even if you don't swaddle your kids too. I use it in his carseat to tuck around him...gives him that cozy feeling without making him hot. Very glad I purchased this!

I live in Dallas, TX and with our temperatures reaching 105 this weekend I am soooo thankful for this blanket. My son is 6 weeks old and LOVES to be swaddled. Unfortunately most blankets make him sweat like crazy... until now. This blanket is perfectly lightweight and easily swaddles him. He's happy and cool. I bought these for swaddling now that the weather is getting a bit warmer. I love the design of these as I've had the microfleece one since my LO was born and she sleeps soundly in it nightly. These are the same great design, but the material shrinks when washed. They are now unusable and I have wasted my money. Fantastic item in a different fabric or if you cold wash and hang to dry. Good for newborns, but has limitations
When your baby is a newborn, this product is superb. You're lacking sleep and eye-hand coordination, so this product makes things so convenient for you.Unfortunately for me, after my baby reached 2-3mos old, she figured out how to wiggle her hands out and they would peek out. This wasn't a problem until she was suddenly able to get her arms peeking out. She still had the startling reflex, so she would wake up constantly!So, I was forced to use the HALO sleepsacks and not put her arms through the arms holes (she was breaking through the velcro again). I'm mentioning all of this just in case you might be having the same problem as me. I would use the HALO on a daily basis for months 3-5. After 5months old, I decided to teach her to sleep with her arms free.Overall, I like this product because it was very helpful in the beginning months. Also, I carry this product in my diaper bag just in case my baby is having a hard time napping while away from home... Top to learn more

Swaddling simplified
This wrap really does make it easier to swaddle your baby - moreover, it makes it harder for the swaddling to come undone, saving you time and effort. At such a reasonable price, it's worth getting two so you'll always have a clean one on hand. One thing to note about size: We have both a fleece wrap and a cotton wrap. Even though they're both the same size, the fleece wrap is a bit smaller than the cotton wrap, especially in terms of the "wings." We use the fleece wrap at the very end of the velcro tabs on my daughter now (she weighs 11 pounds), while with the cotton wrap there is still plenty of room for when she gets bigger. Lengthwise, though, they're about the same, and at 22 1/2 inches, she can now kick her legs out of the wraps if she really tries. Top to learn more

Worth Its Weight In Gold
When my daughter was born, I didn't know about swaddling, and it would take me HOURS to get her to sleep! I would feed or rock her in my arms until she falls asleep, then put her in her crib... and she'd flail her arms, wake up and cry, and I had to start all over! What a nightmare!Then I figured out that since her arms wake her, it would make sense to wrap her in something so she couldn't move them as much... so I started wrapping her in regular receiving blankets. It worked! It became much easier to get her to sleep. But then she wiggled out of those receiving blankets and wake up again.When she was a little over a month old, somehow I came across SwaddleMe blankets on the Internet and immediately bought it. It worked great! It was so easy to wrap my daughter in it, and it stayed put. First off, I really love this product. It's the quickest, easiest way to swaddle my baby girl, who sleeps much better at night when she's securely wrapped up. We went with this kind of swaddle over a blanket because she has been a "mobile sleeper" since birth, and always managed to wriggle out of our blanket swaddle. Note that these notes below pertain to the small size.Now - here's what you need to know about sizing, based on my three months of experience and multiple attempts to get it right.- There are three kinds of swaddle fabrics at the time I'm writing this:1. Flannel (in the gingham prints)2. Fleece3. Cotton jersey (like a t-shirt). Amazing! Should be on the MUST HAVE list!
My wife is an ER peds nurse and when she was pregnant, during her shower she got a pack of these. She looked at me and said "These are dumb, I know how to swaddle!". Well, the first night home, we used one of these, let's just say 4 weeks later we've NEVER swaddled our little one in a blanket. We even purchased more of these as well as a set for gifts.I think the best part of these are the at the 2am and 4am changes/feedings, you don't have to fight with a blanket, just slid them in the sack and velcro the thing closed, can be done in under 15 seconds and it won't come undone, regardless how much the little one moves.The fleece ones are really nice and warm and go good with normal cotton sleepers. We bought the cotton ones for when we put him in a fleece sleeper. This way the little one won't get too hot either way, yet is still swaddled. Top to learn more

A Must Have!
Summer makes a great Microfleece Swaddleme so this is a must for any mom. My daughter loved being swaddled so much we also had to purchase the next size up. I've used several different types of swaddlers, and this one is my favorite. It is easily adjusted, fits great, stays on very well, and is the magic trick for getting my daughter to sleep. I can see her visibly relax after it's on, and she sinks into a blissful sleep. We jokingly call it the Baby Coma Straitjacket. ;-) I wish we'd had this with my colicky first daughter! The best part is the slot for the carseat, so you can use it as a carseat or stroller blanket and it stays put and she can't kick it over her face. It also washes well. We bought the ivory color. We got some newborn size swaddle blankets which we loved, they were the only thing that made our little girl sleep longer than 30-40 minutes. She would fall asleep but flail her arms and wake herself up. We've been squeezing her into the small ones untill we found this bigger size. Im so happy they make bigger ones.
